Why has Purr & Meow rebranded?

Here at Pooch & Mutt, we’re constantly growing and evolving as a brand, so it only feels right to bring all our products along with us. 

So we’re starting a fresh new chapter with exciting new recipes, more formats, and more life-stage options for Purr & Meow. Sharing the spotlight with our feline friends to give them the very best, whatever their breed & need.

And if we do say so ourselves... we’ve done just that.

But why cats? Why now?

Keeping our promise to all breeds & needs

You might remember our Pooch & Mutt rebrand back in January, where we introduced our new promise: ‘for all breeds & needs.’

This promise sits at the heart of everything we do - because when it comes to nutrition, one size never fits all. 

We want to help pets live happier and healthier lives, so we amplified our focus on tailored nutrition in an attempt to cater to every individual pet and their unique qualms and quirks.

Because just like people, every dog is different.

And whilst we may have started with dogs… our promise doesn't stop there. 

Cats are very important members of the family, too. Because anyone with a pet knows they’re never just a pet - they mean the world to us, and have just as big a personality as the rest of the household!

Just like dogs, cats come in all different shapes and sizes, breeds & needs, and with their own preferences and little ways of doing things. It’s what makes them the characters we love so much - from the way they play and relax to the food they enjoy.

And because every cat is different, their nutrition should be too. Their diet plays an important role in their overall wellbeing, and giving them food suited to their individual needs helps them get the most out of every bowl.

We're continuing to expand and grow

We’ve always sold cat products. And hey, we won’t knock ourselves - the recipes were feline-favourites, packed with high-quality, feel-good nutrition (and of course, incredibly tasty!).

But the only problem? We weren’t giving you, or your cats, enough choice!

Our pooches have SO much to choose from, whether it’s treats, chews, wet or dry food. And this much variety is required as no dog, or their needs, are the same. So it was only right not to have favourites and give our cats the same kind of choice.
