The 5 simple reasons why you should #ditchthecan

DITCH THE CAN. HELP THE PLANET.

The can is over 200 years old...

Invented in 1810. That's 6 years before the first camera, 30 years before the postage stamp, 79 years before the light bulb, 103 years before the bra and 128 years before the ballpoint pen. It was great technology 200 years ago, but times have changed.

At Pooch & Mutt we care about the environment and we know that you do too. We think that it's time to Ditch The Can and Help the Planet.

A little bit about meat %'s

When you see the %'s of ingredients on Pooch & Mutt packs this is the amount of the ingredients that is included. The %'s of ingredients don't add up to 100% because we don't include the % of water that is in all wet foods. This is how packs should legally be labelled.

When you see a wet food with a significantly higher % of an ingredient such as chicken this is most likely because they are either a) claiming that the water in their food is 'chicken broth' and counting that towards the % of chicken, or b) they counting the %'s of ingredients excluding water. Both of these are 'wrong', but we can't change what other companies do. We can just be as honest with you as possible and let you know what to look out for.
