No one understands change quite like our pooches. We’ve all seen the moans and groans that come from dishing up their dinner 10 minutes late. But not all change needs to be met with tentative feelings. And looking at what’s taken place here at Pooch - this kind of change is certainly for the better! But don’t worry - we’re here to answer them.
Our main aim is to make sure our loyal customers are completely on board and up to speed. We want you to feel comfortable knowing the Pooch & Mutt you love is going nowhere - we just look a little different.
There’s loads of reasons we’ve switched things up, and we’ve tried our best to squeeze them into our top five…
1. We’re growing
Pups grow at the speed of light. All of a sudden, they’ve outgrown their tiny basket and it’s time for a new one. And that’s because with growth comes necessary change. If you’ve been with us since the beginning in 2007, you’ll know that we started with our supplements, which then grew as we introduced ranges of wet and dry food. That then quickly grew again into treats, chews, dental sticks, toys and most recently, dog gut health. With so much having happened in the last few years, and with other big expansion plans on the horizon, who knows where we’ll be in a year, two years, or three! So with our current and future growth, it made sense to move things around and make some room. Whilst we still champion the extreme importance of your dog’s diet, we know that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to finding the right care. One dog might need more protein, one might need less. One pooch may need gut health intervention, while another may need help calming zoomies. And that’s what we wanted our rebrand to reflect - being there for all breeds & needs.

2. We're evolving
With growth comes the opportunity for us to evolve.
There shouldn’t be any full stops when it comes to caring for our dogs, just &.
But we know that there’s so much chatter about what's best for our dogs. One minute it’s raw food, the next minute it’s fresh. One minute it’s DON’T FEED THEM THIS, and the next it’s ONLY FEED THEM THAT. It can get confusing and sometimes scary, especially when all you’re after is the very best for your dog.
With nearly 20 years in the game, we know it doesn’t have to be that way. And instead of following trends, we know to listen to the needs of your dog and instead, evolve.
As a team of dog owners and dog lovers, we know that each of our dogs need a truly tailored approach. It’s not about listening to the masses and being pressured into one type of food or care. It’s about putting your dog and their needs first, and investigating what would be truly best for them.
And our new era weaves ‘&’ through everything we do. Forget this or that.

3. We're adapting
As we evolve, it’s clear that Good Mood Food doesn’t do our mission justice anymore. And it doesn’t fully encompass our aim to be there for you and your do either, whatever their breed & need. Doing what we do, we get to speak directly to you on a regular basis. And this is the heartbeat of Pooch & Mutt. It means we can see what dog owners like you want, and more importantly, need. And with our team of vets and scientists, our rebrand allows us to adapt and be there for you during pet parenthood. Whether that be the good times or the not-so-good times. It’s given us that much-needed room to expand and be flexible, so we can make sure we’re your one-stop shop for advice, support and the right food for your dog, for life.
4. We're refreshing
What doesn’t look better with a fresh coat of paint? And what better time for a new look than the arrival of a new era for Pooch & Mutt. With a new logo, new promise, and a fresh new lease on life, it was time our look rightly represented who we are. Our new look not only has you and your dog in mind, but also our newly refined approach. Our new packaging helps you easily identify ranges, flavours, and benefits, so it’s simple to identify your pooch’s favourites. It also has a new premium look and feel - so you’re reassured you’re feeding them the best. Not only that, our introduction to Patch’s new pal, Penny, perfectly represents our mission;
Pampered pooch or mischievous mutt, We’re here for all breeds & needs.

5. We're prepping for the future
You can assume correctly that the evolution of Pooch & Mutt goes much further than our rebrand, and we can’t wait for you to join us in this new chapter. And for everything we have in the pipeline, from the definites to the ‘what ifs’ - we needed the best possible foundation. One that’s strong, flexible, and able to support whatever road we go down.
