Looking back on the milestones from where it all began to today…

2007 – It all starts with Cookie
Pooch & Mutt began when founder Guy created a natural joint supplement to help his family dog, Cookie, feel more comfortable after struggling with joint issues. After seeing the power of natural, healthy ingredients, he thought of all the other pooches in need that would benefit.

He developed it into a brand that other dog owners could access, and voila, Pooch & Mutt was born.
2010s – From powders to proper dinners
What started as powdered supplements soon grew into tasty treats and complete meals - all packed with added goodness for digestion, joints, skin & coat, and calmer behaviour.
Early 2020s – Good Mood Food
“Good Mood Food” recipes arrive in supermarkets and pet shops across the UK, making it easier for owners to choose healthier options.
2024 - Big movements
Vafo Group (one of Europe’s largest pet food manufacturers) acquired Pooch & Mutt in a multi-million-pound deal. We also went live with our first TV advert with ambassador Stacey Solomon (and Teddy & Peanut of course!).

2025 – Science steps in
Introducing the Gut Health Test - allowing owners to finally see what’s going on inside their dog’s tummy, along with tailored nutritional advice.
Today
From one loved dog to thousands of happy pooches, Pooch & Mutt has evolved into a modern pet health brand ‘for all breeds & needs’.
