Can Bionic Biotic and Mobile Bones be fed together?

Absolutely! Many of our customers feed both supplements together. Both products are natural and ethically made. They are in powder form that is sprinkled directly onto your dog’s food. Some customers prefer to feed one supplement in the morning and the other supplement at night, but as long as your dog is getting the required dose for their weight… it doesn’t matter when you feed.

What Does Bionic Biotic Do?

Bionic Biotic contains 16 active ingredients to promote solid stools, healthy skin, improve coat growth and help with overall digestion. Bionic Biotic contains the only EU-approved probiotic for canine use. This promotes the optimum levels of ‘friendly bacteria’ in the gut, which allows the digestive system to work properly, helping a dog to retain more nutrients from their food and to excrete more toxins.

What Does Mobile Bones Do?

Mobile Bones is a joint supplement with 16 active ingredients for dogs who suffer from mobility issues. It promotes joint comfort, mobility and aids development of strong bones because of Glucosamine + 15 powerful ingredients that have been added. Mobile Bones is ideal for elderly, working, competing and injured dogs.

Will my dog eat the supplement?

Both Bionic Biotic and Mobile Bones are highly palatable and have been designed to be easily eaten by dogs. We rarely have any problems with dogs eating the supplement. However, if your dog is struggling to eat the powder we recommend a couple of alternatives:

  1. Sprinkle the dose over a slice of ham and roll it up
  2. Add the powder into a can of tuna

How long will the pack last my dog?

Depending on the weight of your dog, the 200g pack can last anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months. There is a feeding guide located on the back of each pack, as well as on our website which can be found on each product page.

Can I use the supplements with my current food that I feed?

Our range of supplements are safe to feed with whatever food you are currently feeding- wet, dry or raw. We do recommend feeding our Health & Digestion food alongside Bionic Biotic to improve internal digestion and Joint Care dry food with our Mobile Bones to increase bone strength.

Do you have a money back guarantee?

How long until I can see a difference?

Many customers see a result within the first few days of use, however as every dog is different with varying internal systems it can take up to 2 months for full results to be seen. If you have any nutritional questions, please email pooch@poochandmutt.com for further information.

Why Should I Use Salmon Oil?

Pooch & Mutt ‘Salmon Oil’ is a rich, natural, source of Omega 3 (DHA and EPA), Omega 6 and Omega 9, offering the correct high ratio of Omega 3 to 6. Omega fatty acids cannot be made by the body, so it is essential that your pet consumes them as part of their diet.

How many Joint Care tablets do I need to feed my dog?

The amount of tablets you need to feed will differ depending on the size of your dog and their joint care needs. The tablets are smaller than other joint supplements to provide a more accurate dose of the vital ingredients. You will need to feed 1 tablet for every 5kg of body weight e.g. if you have a 30kg Golden Retriever you would need to feed 6 tablets throughout the day. The tablets have been developed by vets and are tasty so you can either feed as a treat throughout the day or split into their morning/evening feed.

How many foods are in your range?

We have 3 different ranges of dog food: Functional Complete Dry food to help dogs with specific issues such as joint care or anxiety, Complete Dry Superfood which caters to dogs at different life stages from puppy to senior, and a wet food range which contains 6 tasty flavours and includes a puppy specific wet food.

Are your foods grain free?

Yes! We only use free run chicken, turkey or salmon and sweet potato in our dry food ranges, and Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Beef and Fish in our wet food. Each variety has differing natural ingredients to provide an abundance of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

How big is the kibble size?

Our kibble size varies between products but a picture can be found on each product page so you check the size before buying. We also have a smaller size kibble in our Small Superfood which is perfect for small breeds. The food is packed full of fresh meat and vegetables, rather than corn and maize which can contribute to its darker colour.

What bag size do you offer?

Product size varies between ranges. In our Functional range we offer 1kg trial size, 2kg or 10kg and in the Superfood range we offer a 1.5kg or 7.5kg bag.

Can I mix the foods in your range together?

You can. We do recommend sticking to one dry food to ensure your dog is receiving all of the natural ingredients they need for their specific condition, but it is fine to also mix with the wet food.

How should I switch from my old food to yours?

When switching dog foods it is recommend that you introduce the new food gradually replacing 25% of their existing food for the first 2-3 days, then 50% for a further 2-3 days. Finally, 75% for a final 2-3 days.

How much should my dog have a day?

Each product is different so please refer to the guidelines on each product page or refer to the back of the product packaging. You can also use our new feeding calculator at the bottom of each product page for a more tailored feeding guide.

Are your foods suitable for puppies?

Yes. We offer a dry Puppy Superfood specifically formulated to help provide all of the nutrients they need for optimal growth and development. We also have a puppy wet food which contains fresh meat and vegetables alongside a prebiotic for healthy digestion. Our functional foods are also suitable for puppies.

Treats

Are your treats grain-free?

Yes, our Probiotic Meaty treats are grain-free. Our natural Mini-Bone treats are wheat-free and can be suitable for dogs with sensitive digestions.

How many treats should I feed per day?

The treats are low in calories and natural, so there is no real worry about overfeeding. However, we do recommend feeding up to 15 treats a day based on your dog’s weight.

How big are your treats?

Our range of treats are the perfect size for training. The Meaty Treats come in different shapes (see product pages for more details) and our Mini-Bone treats are hand baked in the UK and come in small bone shaped biscuits.

How many treats are there in a tube of Mini-Bone Treats?

Each tube is 125g with approximately 150 treats in each.

Why can I only buy a pack of 6 or 7 treats from you?

We offer a discount on our treat packs which allows you to stock up on your favourite varieties! For example a pack of 6 Mini-Bone treats is £15.99, which works out to £2.67 per tube. We also offer a multipack of our Mini-Bone treats so your dog can try all 3 flavours, as well as a Meaty Treats taster pack which contains one of each flavour.

How many treats are there in your range?

There are 6 flavours of treats in our range - Mini-Bones: Calm & Relaxed, Health & Digestion and Fresh Breath and Probiotic Meaty Treats: Duck & Rosemary for dental, Shrimp & Coconut for Skin & Coat and Turkey & Hemp for Calming.

What meat source is used in your treats?

Mini-Bones: Calm & Relaxed is made with British lamb, while the rest of the range is made with British chicken. Meaty Treats: Dental is made with Duck, Calming is made with Turkey and Skin & Coat is made with tasty Shrimp.

PoochRewards

Have you changed your rewards scheme?

Yes, we have changed our PoochRewards scheme to make it easier for you to collect and manage your points online. Points are only available on purchases made from poochandmutt.com, and can be exchanged for vouchers to spend on future orders on the website. You can now also earn points on your dog's birthday and if you refer a friend to Pooch & Mutt.

What do I do with old pooch points from the back of product packaging?

The new PoochReward scheme went live in August 2020, and the cut off for honouring points at the old value ended on 31st December 2020. If you have cut out points from the old system please do not send these to our office (we will not receive them), instead, please take a picture of your points and email them to us at pooch@poochandmutt.com and we will be able to apply these points to your new online account. The points will be honoured to the new value.

My RewardPoints aren't applying to my account after I place an order?

When you are on the Pooch & Mutt website make sure you are logged into your account, your points can only be applied to your account if you are logged in when you reach check out. If you forget to log in then don't worry, you can contact our customer service team at pooch@poochandmutt.com who will be able to apply these to your account for you.

How do I spend my points?

Head to your rewards account section and in there you can exchange your points for vouchers to spend on future orders. Simply copy the voucher code and apply it to your order at the checkout. Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount code.

Ordering

My offer code isn't working

Please note discount codes are not valid for use on already discounted items such as Bundles and Subscription items. Only one code can be used per transaction and not in conjunction with any other offer.

Can I use PayPal for Subscription payments?

No. Unfortunately we can only accept debit/credit card payments and unable to offer PayPal as a payment option for Subscription items. 

Delivery

Delivery Times

We look to get all deliveries out within 2-6 working days.

Christmas Delivery

Over the Christmas period, the warehouse and business will be shut from the 24th to the 28th of December and then again from the 31st of December to the 3rd of January 2022.
 
During the festive period, orders may take up to 8 working days to arrive, but as always we will try our best to get your order to you sooner.
